Earwolf Synopsis[]
LIL’ GARY IS BACK! If I may say so myself, this is the closest he’s ever gotten to pronouncing a word correctly. Loch and Key serve as the house band for this episode, which brings back Kumail Nanjiani for his second appearance. Lil’ Gary talks about raising awareness for burn wards, Kumail talks about his wedding, Loch and Key talk about the genre classification of their music, Scott gives an Entourage re-cap, and What Am I Thinking? makes an appearance for the first time in a while. Introduction[]
Lil' Gary is the announcer for the show he performs an introduction which Scott admits is mostly incorrect. Loch and Key are introduced as the second real band to perform on the show he mentions Sean Hoffman is on guitar and vocals, Leyla Akdogan is on vocals and Matt is on Bass which has 4 strings rather than the traditional 6 of a guitar.
Kumail is introduced, he and Scott talk about the differences between Black people and White people Scott contends it is mainly the colour of their skin with Black people tending to have darker skin than White people. Scott asks Kumail "what kind are you?" Kumail says he is brown/Pakistani. Kumail talks about his recent marriage to Emily V. Gordon who he admits is "white as fuck". This leads to a story in which the priest who performed his wedding didn't want to marry someone named Emily and went on to allow Beyonce's "Naughty Girl" to play on his phone while performing someones wedding. Scott talks about his and "Weirdest" Kulap's similar distain for their wedding DJ. Lil' Gary briefly talks about his 3 marriages.
