Tony Clifton has been a guest on Comedy Bang! Bang! He is a lounge singer who first came to prominence after comedian Andy Kaufman encountered him at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. Following this initial encounter Kaufman was enamored with Clifton and decided to bring him to LA to be his opening act. There was a mistaken belief that Clifton was simply a character played by Kaufman, but since Kaufman's death Clifton has continued to insist he is a seperate person.
