Tommy is a character played by Fran Gillespie. He is a young boy who is terminally ill and wants to see his uncle Wally Cobb perform stand-up comedy. He inherited a vast sum of money from his neighbor around the same age who died after being stung by several bees. Though he was originally admitted to the hospital for toxoplasmosis, his aunt/Wally's ex-wife caused his terminal illness by replacing his IV drip, trying to kill him for his money.
