With summer almost over, we knew we had to have Marissa Wompler back on the show before she goes back to school. Womp It Up! With her is “Tough But Fair” Todd Glass who teaches Marissa how to get started in comedy. Subaru! The episode is chock full of games and stories, including the much anticipated follow-up to Todd’s Subaru story from his last appearance, so listen up and check out Todd’s new podcast which premieres next month on Nerdist!
Scott informs Marissa that in the time she hasn't been turning up for her internship the show has changed its name. She explains one of the reasons she hasn't turned up is because he has been on her jock from day one, and later she mentions another reason is she is worried about leading Scott on. Marissa struggles with her volume control.
Todd tells a story about overhearing a guy on the phone saying "When I go to Queens I have a good time", and gives several examples of what he imagined the other end of the conversation going like. Marissa tells Todd and Scott she is considering stand up; she asks "how long it takes to make the real cold hard cash? "Todd says "a week."
Todd plays for the American Cancer Association and Marissa plays for Puppies Behind Bars.
The first game is Todd vs. Marissa. They both say 'color' in the 4th round.
The second game is Scott vs. Todd. They both say 'temperature' in the 3rd round.
The final game is Todd vs. Marissa. They both stumble and therefore Scott is declared the winner.
Would you rather have all of your children die on their fifth birthday OR be a Waffle House manager?
Todd is declared the winner.
